How to Create a "Do Follow" Link List

Creating Simple “Do Follow” Link Lists Using Blogger Gadget

In Blogger, the easiest way to create a Do Follow link list is to:
  1. Go to "Design"
  2. Then"Page Elements"
  3. Then, "Add a Gadget"
  4. Then, "Link List".
  5. Next, Complete the form by:
  • Typing the name of the link, then
  • Copying and pasting the URL of the page where your link is located. Best link naming practice is to use "name of the site":"Title of page, article, or tag" For example: One site linked to us is "Omemee Pigeon eFlyer:Business Listings "http://omemeeon.blogspot.com/p/omemee-business-directory.html"
  • Click “Save” Preview your page to see if you like the results,then save your blog. See an example of Link lists using Gadgets in th e Side bar on th e right,and below in the footer

Here are the instructions to help you build an effective html link list.The html for creating a basic html link list is fairly simple.

Html Plain  “Do Follow” Link Lists

For a plain list of “do follow” links like this:

Use:

For example:

Html “Do Follow” Link List Variations:

Link Opens in New Window- If you want the link to open in a new window,so your site remains open, insert target="new" or target="_blank"immediately after the url
<li><a href="url" target="new">Name of link</a>Note about link</li>
Note: it is best practice when using this technique to include an alt tag that warns people,especially those using accessibility devices that a new window will open. Therefore, please insert alt="See (name of link) in a new window" as follows
<li><a  href="url" target="new"alt="See (name of link) in a new window">>Name of link</a>Note about link</li>
Link List With Tool Tip on Mouseover: To have instructions or a note show abut the link when people mouseover it add title =”Instructions you wish to give” between the “a”and “href” in the code
<li><a  title=”Mouseover tip” href="url" target="new"alt="See (name of link) in a new window">>Name of link</a>Note about link</li>
Numbered List: Replace <ul> and</ul>from unordered list with <ol> and </ol>meaning ordered list. Thus, the html for a numbered link list opening in a new window and using all the preceding would be

  2. Minute to Market Facebook Photo Album:Facebook Tips-Photo Album Highlighting Our Facebook Tutorials
